The Republican party took a real risk hitching itself to the Trump clown car... they've lost a lot of support among key groups like suburban women.. Trumps base is shrinking as poor working class whites realize they've been anally violated once again .. what do you see as the future for the republican party as it alienates hispanic immigrants and the white population ages and shrinks?

I think this depends upon whether or not you think the election of Trump is a one-off thing instead of a sign of political realignment. If it's a one-off thing it may affect the GOP down the road a little but if it's a sign of realignment then both major parties will be affected and may have to make some changes.
Don't be afraid to see what you see
It looks like it's transformed itself into a alternate Third Party. A Party that is breaking ALL the Rules. Trump, the inexperienced 'Politician', is telling people what they want to hear and running the Government in an unconventional way. Some people think it is a breath of fresh air. A Revolution if you will.
After all the Chaos, all the 'Bull in a China Shop' antics, all the 'Scandals', ... if Trump is still around in 2020 and wins the Presidency, ... there WAS a Revolution and all the rest of us missed it.

Revolution is upon us lol.
And there’s not one but two of them. The Trumpist revolution is more talked about but Democrats have their own—and it’s being led by radicals. For all the blather about chaos under Trump, impending dictatorship, assinine Hitler comparisons and etc, Trump’s policies are pretty conventional.
Trumps nationalism is nothing more than putting the country’s interest ahead of global interests. That’s not radical—it’s fricking common sense. US foreign diplomats did that until after WWII. Tax cuts, yawn. Installing conservative justices to the bench has been on the Never Trumper wish list since Reagan but establishment republicans like Bush and co were too ineffectual to get it done. Trump is an unconventional politician with conventional ideas.
Democrats on the other hand—especially the new crop of them, are out of the closet socialists. I read where the House is going to change a 150 year old rule to enable their new Muslim congresswomen to wear their religious headdress.
Anyone paying attention knows who the revolutionaries are and where the actual revolution is occurring.

Everything about the Republicans as they now are suggests they are living before the Civil War. Better beat 'em again (Yes, I know they switched names) and get on with life. Seems to me that, as with our currently insane Tory party, something will probably survive of the Republicans, because of the historical connexions of the name. People get used to these things, like 'nations'.
I think you're right. It'll take more than a single anomalous leader to cause realignment. Especially if Trump loses the primary in 2020, or even the general election, the likelihood is the GOP will snap back to something like its traditional positioning. If, however, the next Republican leader is also in the style of Trump (e.g., a white nationalist and protectionist), it probably signals a realignment.... one that seems likely to be good for the Democrats for quite some time. Remember, the GOP was shut out from the presidency for 20 years, before Eisenhower, and the Democratic Republicans once had a lock on the presidency for 28 straight years, so the recent frequent back-and-forth is hardly guaranteed.
Trump is a populist.. they either change the dynamics for good, or get ground down by da establishment
Nope

Trump is President until 2024,
And assuming, a pretty safe assumption that the economy is still strong, our taxes are lower, unemployment is still at record low levels, our trade deals with countries previously ripping us off are still strong pro-American, and our border has been secured.. How on earth would anyone run on anything but a continued Trump agenda.
