Default Kyrsten Sinema wins in Arizona as Dems capture longtime GOP seat

Rep. Sinema narrowly edged out Republican Rep. Martha McSally in the open-seat race, the Associated Press projected. Sinema will replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R). Sinema’s win narrows the GOP majority in the Senate to 51-47.
Two other races remain unresolved, the close contest in Florida between Gov. Rick Scott (R) and Sen. Bill Nelson (D) and a Nov. 27 runoff in Mississippi, pitting appointed Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith against Democrat Mike Espy. This is a developing story. It will be updated.

McSally concedes, she’ll probably be appointed to McCain’s seat.

However, if McSalley won, then we could watch the inevitable battle with Marsha Mashburn on who is the cutest GOP Senator.

Trump was proud of his part in forcing Flake out. Wonder if he figured out what he did yet?
