To dispell the "Secret Muslim" myth that pervades the electorate.

Many my friends still thought he was a Muslim.

Obviously they wouldn't have wanted it to blow out of control like this.

I doubt it's true, but it would be something to think about.

He did it to hide the fact he he actually IS an Islamic extremist.
