It depends on the old woman, my 92 year old neighbor broke her hip and has made a remarkable comeback. Ruth is a very fit old woman.

She can't sit up straight as is. With broken ribs, it will be even worse.

I am totally aware that I am old...and essentially have "one foot in the grave." I am fine with that idea. It is a natural part of life.

I know MANY people my age who are fine with the knowledge that they are old and essentially have "one foot in the grave. (I know some right now who are actually happy about it, considering what is happening to our nation!)
