Not a Trumpkin but as a Republican why would I not want to talk about Governor's races? On this board all the hype was about Gillium and Abrams and they both lost.

Good riddance and may it be the end of his shitstain career.

    Hilarious- but so true!

Yes, the idiot was the governor like twice already, and they still haven't been able to remove all the shit stains he left behind!

But, it was his lying about supporting Obamacare that took the cake! That didn't go over for anyone but the extreme idiots.

They may have barely lost but 'barely' is the operative word.

And that word should concern Republicans.

For a black woman to nearly win the vote for governor of GA is nothing short of a sign of the times. And just as equally, for a young black man who openly campaigned with socialist Bernie Sanders to nearly win the governor election in Florida is equally amazing. Just shows how close those States are to flipping blue sa the demographics continue to move that way. Heck, Beto had a very impressive showing in Texas. TEXAS, of all places. They've got a lotta good old boys down in Texas, don't ya know.

The whole country is really moving blue. The only thing that keeps Republicans in any kind of power is gerrymandering and voter suppression.

the forum I was on predicted he was dead in the water years ago when they sunk so much money into his special election defeat. I imagine people like you just change your identity and pretend what you previously predicted made no difference.

save your chest beating for his signature legislation going away (it's not going away )

I was speaking more to the fact that Governors are rarely discussed. People tend to discuss the President and that's it.

Considering what the Republicans still control I wouldn't say the whole country is moving blue. What is happening though are people are moving from blue areas, such as the NE and California, to red areas where there are more opportunities and ironically to me working on turning them blue. I say ironically because they left their prior area due to high costs or lack of opportunity and want to turn their new home into the same type situation.

That's a shame; now Wisconsin will slide back to the failure it wallowed in before Walker and start all over again.

Old men have died for a long time. If I can go Jarod here, I'll guess they'll keep on dying. But what exactly do foresee happening in the future? The U.S. turns into one big California?

I am more amazed he held on this long, but whatever. That several thousand ballots were damaged and had to be "recreated" certainly sounds like it may not be over quite yet for the Walker there.
