Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

    What's the double standard?
The double standard is you are for states rights when they benefit you, and not when they don't.

So you are for states rights when they benefit you, is marriage a right?

The gulf between the party identification of white voters with college degrees and those without is growing rapidly. Trump is widening it.

According to exit polls, 61 percent of non-college-educated white voters cast their ballots for Republicans while just 45 percent of college-educated white voters did so. Meanwhile 53 percent of college-educated white voters cast their votes for Democrats compared with 37 percent of those without a degree.

Exactly when did facts become the aristocracy?

Kinda' explains why you're a republican.
Yep, Democrats are the party of the upper class, Socialist ruling elite wealthy aristocracy and the non- workers of the welfare State, ... NOT the middle class.

I'm still waiting for liberals, like Meryl Streep and you, ... to take a vow of poverty and donate your wealth to the State.

I won't go that far. I just don't see the issue of them not being able to vote once their debt is paid. But, then I think they should be allowed to have their 2nd Amendment rights back too.

I don't think anyone ever convicted of a non-violent crime should lose 2nd amendment rights period....or any other right...for the same reason I don't believe in the Death Penalty. That's a power I don't want Government to have. A right should be inviolable regardless.

So if you take someones life you do not believe yours should be taken, kind of selfish to say the least, why do you get to live after you murder someone?

    Not correct.
The voters of Florida voted in favor of Amendment 4 which restored the rights of convicted felons to vote.
It passed with 64% of the vote.
Advocacy groups after decades of trying finally got the Amendment on the ballot.

The Amendment applies to felons that have completed their sentence.
The Amendment excludes those convicted of murder and felony sex offenses.

The democrats were losing 17.9% of the potential black voters.

Is there something about “non-violent” you don’t understand?
