Additionally this is with 97% of news coverage against Trump being always negative.

I wish we could have held the House and who knows had not so many weak assed RINOs not bailed it might have been a better turnout.

It is what it is. There is no crying in politics unless you are a liberal

here is a link with some peoples predictions on a select few of the close races. Things turned out better then I expected

You can take solace in the fact that the losses were less than Obama's first midterm election with actual gains in the Senate. In comparison, Obama and the Dems lost 63 House seats and 6 Senate races and huge losses in the states... considering that a wave, this was barely a high tide. I'd say this was successful with an unpopular President considering what happened in 2010 was the worst loss in a midterm election since 1948.

The Wisconsin Governor race is going to be one of the closest of the nights apparently.

I suspect we'll have a zillion useless congressional "investigations" into such things as Trump's golden nose hair trimmers...

The alternate spin on that is that the Democrats were in one of the worst positions in history as far as the Senate goes, and that no way the GOP should have lost so many seats in the House w/ an economy this good.

I'm not elated, but I'm satisfied. This election spoke to how people feel about Trump.

Trump wasted time playing to a base that were going to vote regardless and simply didn't talk about the incredible economy to work on those unaffiliated voters and people on the edge. While his base loves to hear about a hard stance on illegal immigration, what he needed to press was the lowest unemployment and the recent rise in wages. I think he really showed as a non-politician... worried about the the clapter for his strong stance rather than listening to advice and bringing some people to his side of the fence. IMO, a good politician would be stressing that pre-existing conditions are going to be covered.

I see that. Only 800 votes apart between Evers and walker with 90% in.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

I would caution against making sweeping assumptions about the results of the mid term

Bottom line is voters are fickle. Have been for years.

Here is one thing we can take away from this election

The democrat party put up some really far left candidates like O’Rourke, Gillum, Abrams and Cordray.

Every one of them lost or is losing (Georgia)

In many of the House races, the dems did what they always do. They found “moderate” candidates who said they won’t vote for Pelosi, but we will see

Progressives look a big hit tonight.

Also left wingers dumped a lot of money into these progressives.

True. I mentioned last night a polling organization called The Trafalgar Group. They were the only ones who saw Trump winning PA in 2016.
This time they were the only ones who saw Scott and DeSantis winning in FL. The others were as you say...waaaaay off.
