The market is not the economy but it has served as a predictor of the economy in 6 months or so. It does not loo good. Thumps childish flailing at economic policy is dangerous. Tariffs are bad. they are making investors very nervous about the future. GM says steel tariffs cost them a billion dollars. Farmers are losing millions and some going out of business. Trump is threatening more.
