It should not be considered acceptable to unironically refer to unarmed asylum seekers as an "invasion". The intent of this sort of argument is clearly to say that the action of seeking asylum is essentially morally akin to violence and warrants a violent response in "self-defense". Which is morally disgusting. Unarmed, nonviolent actions should *never* warrant an *armed*, *violent* response.
