I seriously hope you never do, and if you've never hunted before you don't understand, but you are poorer for it in spirit. I get probably 99% of my meats from the market, but the 1% I get from the hunt is special

We get about 20% of our meat from the supermarket. The rest is wild game or home raised beef. Hunting is a way of life for so many of the people who live around me. Folks that don’t like hunting will appreciate that it is probably not going to be carried on for many more generations. My son killed a deer with his 30-30 this past Friday. It was youth gun season in Oklahoma. He’s killed several in his young life. I seriously doubt that he’ll even hunt when he’s out on his own. Scouting, setting up, etc all takes time and effort and processing the meat takes time and effort. It’s not ‘video game’ satisfying because you don’t kill something every time you go. The younger generations don’t appreciate the culture as much.

But the 2nd amendment isn’t about hunting. I don’t want one of these guns, but if they become available to the public and if Grind (or anyone else) does and if he can jump through the necessary governmental regulatory hoops (they do exist) then more power to him.
