Antifa is the boogeyman for the hard conservative right just as neo-nazis are the boogeyman for liberals. The actual numbers for both groups are greatly exaggerated because it's easier organize a following against some kind of enemy, especially a vague, faceless enemy. In reality, those groups are minuscule compared to the silent majority of America that actually trends somewhere in the middle.
