Sorry, but where did the law allow others to use the "Stand your ground" law to the extent that this shop owner thought he had the right to kill the shoplifter? Where do cops get the idea that they can shoot unarmed citizens in the back while they are running away, and then claim they feared for their olives? Or a 12 year old with a pellet gun?
Like all rights, if not restricted you can bet your ass that someone is going to abuse them.
