My standards are too high to give them much credit.
There is NO stoning in Arabia..

Do you oppose capital punishment in the US?

The endurance of the Wahhabi movement's influence may be attributed to the close association between the founder of the movement and the politically powerful Al Saud in southern Najd (see The Saud Family and Wahhabi Islam, 1500-1818 , ch. 1).
Abdelazziz rejected his father.. His mentor was his uncle, the Emir of Kuwait, who was profoundly anti-Wahhabi.

While they were announcing that Saudis murdered Khashoggi, Trump was giving a speech lauding a politician that bodyslammed a reporter. Trump feels the same way, He would kill reporters if he could get away with it. Maybe someday he will.
Turkish papers said trump sanctioned the hit. The Saudis would not do it without getting an OK. Makes sense.

Khashoggi the pawn in a Mideast showdown over the Sunni Muslim world
Ankara and Riyadh have been playing a geopolitical game for control of the Sunni Muslim world, and the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi played an unwitting part in the feud

I don't believe that Trump sanctioned the hit.

    lololololol

Trump controls the justice department, if the guy was a terrorist they could prosecute him like that or deported him to Saudi Arabia. We do not need Saudi Arabia's help on this issue, we don't need them to take it upon themselves to dismember him in Turkey. Anyway Saudi Arabia does not give a shit about what terrorist ties he may hold, they were butthurt that one of our journalists was saying mean things about him. This is *much* worse for their image though than any mean thing Khashoggi could have ever said.

    Sorry, I couldn't find a precise date.

Btw the article in your OP contains this:
"The media will always take the side of Islamists over non-Islamists. That’s why it bleeds for Khashoggi."

Don't you think that's rather a strange statement? What is the agenda here?

That is Turkey's business. I hate it myself but it is something that happens when a nation descends into shit.

This was a killing of a journalist at one of our newspapers. This is our business. This shows a tremendous lack of respect from Saudi Arabia towards America as well. We should ensure that in the future they respect us appropriately, and if they have a legitimate issue with a Saudi journalist employed in the United States, they should talk about it with us. Friends do not violate the sovereignty of friends. Saudi Arabia is not our friend.

There is a twitter account under that name with that photo but I don't think it is her.

    Here's some more legitimate photos:

She would have to look *way* worse with the hijab on. Also her eyes seem to be of an entirely different color. The name is Turkish, so I assume she's a Turk, blue eyes are incredibly rare in Turkey (where the ethnicity is largely Mediterranean, a mix of balkan, middle eastern, and a small amount of central Asian from their steppe ancestors).

I did read your article twice and I have to think it over. King Faisel evicted the MB professors from KSA in the early 1970.. still their teachings impressed some young Saudis.

I don't think the press really knows much about the Muslim Brotherhood or about Kashoggi's DAWN which was for the Arab Spring and spreading it to the Gulf states.
