Political identity terms have become obsolete. Lefties identify by whatever description they need to to do the most damage, so I can only tell if a person is a lefty or righty by talking to them.

Basically today's political landscape is a political war with only two sides. Lefties and righties. I say war, since the two sides are polarized, and there will be no negotiations. Civics and journalism are dead, and we are in the pre bloodshed stage of an ugly political war. People claim all various political identifying terms, but there is no way to tell what they are without talking to them. It does not take long to determine what side of the war somebody is on if you talk to them.

I realize that there was once more meaning to all the political identifier terms, but that was then. The Trump thing you mentioned has some merit, since there were only two possible outcomes of the 2016 election. Obviously, lefties voted for the lefty, and righties voted for the righty. Those who voted for something other than one of the only two possible candidates are lefties by default.

Old man Bush called Trump a blowhard, among other things, and voted for Hillary. So he must be a lefty.

There are plenty of lifelong lefty Repubs out there. Many of them do not even realize that they are lefties.

You give her a pass because she's a Democrat (which is your right). But it belies your moral outrage otherwise.
When did you oppose the invasion of Iraq?

Who would you say are actual republicans in America? Or at least of those who hold office.

Nope. I supported it. (although I did attend three large anti-war rallies in SF out of curiosity) But me supporting it and Hillary voting for it are two very different things.

Bush and Cheney cooked the intel and sold the war to the American people who are largely ignorant about the ME. They marginalized EVERYONE who opposed the plan to include diplomats, historians, Arabs, oilmen and the Europeans.. and inspectors..

The British set up Operation Mass Appeal to sell the war in 1998.

You fell for it and you blame Hillary.

Ummmm, Hillary Clinton VOTED to give us the authority to go into Iraq. You fall into the same boat as Cypress. You claim to hate the war (and I don't doubt that you do) but because Hillary's a Democrat and ran for President you give her a pass for voting for it and try and claim us nobody's are in the same boat as her. No ma'am.

Cawacko is one of those lifelong lefty republicans.

He has gone Native living in Commiefornia. He thinks because he talks about tax cuts he is a “conservative”. He is not.

Additionally he is just interested in debating the topics not actually winning

That is why President Trump hurts his feels

Apparently it is more important to him to feel good about losing. You will notice he was very quiet during the Kavanaugh mess. I suspect he secretly hoped the dems won. He also hopes the GOP loses the mid terms because he can’t stand Trump being successful even though Trump is enacting policies Cawacko claims to support.

Did YOU support Kavanaugh? Did you also support the invasion of Iraq?
