"Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) said Wednesday that the Trump administration is restricting access to information about a missing Saudi journalist, a move that comes as President Trump has publicly echoed denials of wrongdoing from top Saudi officials."

"Corker added that the administration canceled an intelligence briefing scheduled for Tuesday and that he was told additional information would not be shared with the Senate at this time, a development he described as "disappointing."

"“I can only surmise that probably the intel is not painting a pretty picture as it relates to Saudi Arabia"

Why? What would be the reason for holding information from the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on
a current world event?

What do you think the probability is that Trump knows right now the details of Khashoggi's death and the role of the Saudis? And that he knew it before he publicly told the world he took the King and Prince's word that they knew nothing of the journalists disappearance?

They got to be working hard now creating a new narrative, the reason why Trump, two and half weeks later, decides to give them more time to "investigate." I'd bet anything it will be that the Saudis didn't know about the actual incident, it was a "rogue" interrogation that went bad and all the responsible parties will be punished. Trump will buy it, Pompeo most likely sketched it out for them, Fox and the demagogues will sell it, the GOP will concur, and one weeks from now Trump will have create another "issue" to deflect attention fof of it
