Right now the richest 1% of Americans owns 40% of the nations wealth. The richest 1% now own more of the nation's wealth than the bottom 90%.

    It's called capitalism.

It has become a cancer eating at the body of our Republic.

Capitalism is a cancer if being the world's economic superpower isn't your thing

Capitalism as now practiced in the United States...

...IS a cancer eating the body of the Republic.

It doesn't matter whether it is "my thing" or not.

Ad supported internet? Apparently some people haven't heard of ad blockers.

I've been on the internet for over twenty years, and I've never bought anything from an ad.

Here are some that particularly irritate me:

"People in X have made $$$$$$ from this!" (where X is your home town)

"What bankers/doctors/etc. don't want you to know ..."

"Gorgeous Russian ladies are dying to date you!"

How dumb do they think we are?

None of the replies from you loony leftists has refuted the fact that ad-supported internet has added 1 trillion dollars to the economy. That's 7 percent of the economy, BTW. Sucks to you. LOL!

Even with ad blockers, it added one trillion dollars to the economy.
