Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, aren't hand outs. They were payed for by our parents, and grandparents as a safety net for the future. All the things that congress paid into by taking from these programs, are the ones getting a handout. When my father died, I reaped benefits from being a disabled person, with a deceased parent. That, and money from mom's accident compensation made it so we could go on.
