What about the working and middle class who make too much to qualify for Medicaid but can't afford the spiraling costs of insurance?

Going to the ER is no solution. Especially if you work for a living. The lines at ER's are often so long, patients have to wait for several hours just to see a doctor. That means losing a whole day of work.

Then, once they see a doctor and are out of danger of dying, the treatment ends. No follow up care.

AND.... they still get an enormous ER bill that will go to a collection agency if they don't pay it.
