It wouldn't feel like a 'pounding ' to somebody sitting half a world away wearing a prosemitic protection suit, I agree.

The fence was an attempt to delineate an illegal border- which of course fences cannot do. The illegal blockade is an attempt to eliminate opposition to the illegal fence.

Because Hamas and other terrorists were bombing them daily.
My previous explanation is proven correct by the FACT that thousands of Palestinians scale the illegal fence daily in order to get to work, amongst other reasons. If they wanted to bomb Izrael then Izrael would be bombed.
The fence is a POLITICAL barrier- as has been determined by the IZRAELI judiciary, as well as the UN and the international court.

So yeah it sort of does have to do with Hamas.
Gaza is one place in the world where you could take away the entire leadership structure and the political groundswell would be exactly the same.
It's in the Palestinian DNA not to be crushed by the US/Izraeli ethnic cleansing program. They'll win, eventually. I'd sure hate to be a fucking neoZionist Izraeli when they do.

The barrier/wall was started in 1994 and completed in 1996, well before Sharon handed Gaza back. The Gaza Strip was completely evacuated by Israel. It could have been an example of how Palestinians can rule itself, create a peaceful and productive society and live peacefully. Sadly Hamas chose instead to build numerous tunnels, using supplies intended for construction, enriching many tunnel owners in the process.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declared his support for the Egypt–Gaza barrier, saying: "It is the Egyptians’ sovereign right in their own country. So why not the same for the Israeli barrier?

I think this argument would carry a lot more weight had Gaza not been isolated as it was.

Yes - Hamas is the Resistance fighting the nazi takeover of their country. Why aren't democratic governments supporting them all out?

An illegal fence would be something that I erected across your property without any legal basis and from behind which I shot you if you approached it.
It would be classified as illegal by the international courts which would recommend its demolition- as in fact has been the case with the neoZionist fascists' illegal, political barrier.

Silly Brit sycophant. Abbas is in no position to ' support ' anything as his tenure ran out years ago after his ass was kicked in the last meaningful Palestinian elections wherein HAMAS won a landslide victory. He has been US/Izrael's man ever since they paid him to launch a coup against HAMAS- which failed .
It is typical of ignorant Brit slobs to attempt to undermine and divide the Palestinian resistance which such horseshit. You're an establishment asshole, maggot- an establishment asshole who bans critics from his own threads. Fuck off.

Again, Irish- what has HAMAS ever done to you ?

What would you do if Mexico ethnically cleansed Texas and built a fence to keep the survivors out ?

There is nothing professional about lying. You wonder why people do not take "journalists" seriously anymore. There are none.
