More than 60 percent said they believe the military is in better shape now than it was under President Barack Obama, and nearly the same number have a favorable view of his handling of the military.

Last month, Congress finalized a $674 billion defense appropriations measure for fiscal 2019 which included another end strength boost, a host of new equipment purchases and the largest military pay raise in a decade.

“Trump has done some things to win the hearts of the military, whether it has been the budget or just avoiding a foreign policy catastrophe,” Feaver said. “And he has talked about the importance of the military, making it a focus of his campaign and presidency."

Honestly I'm worried that it looks like Jim Mattis is standing down. Trump said he "just authorizes our military", but of course that was a lie. The military is bloodthirsty as fuck, they do everything within their power with zero moral qualms. That's not enough for Trump, he wants more blood even if it's not in our interests. He wants a show, babies being blown up is a nice pleasant evening for these people. They cannot be satisfied with masturbating, or sitting in their yachts, no, that's not enough for the Trumpist elite. He thinks of the military as cucks for their wisdom and caution, the soldiers as cowards for not wanting to put their lives on the line meaninglessly for his show.
