Yep......the criminal is the VICTIM, as usual. Its not like they made a piss poor personal decision to be a criminal and place their lives in danger. Leave it up to a leftist to defend the indefensible. Reality: If this thief would have not made the decision to STEAL, they would be alive today. With all the violence being promoted by the left today.....is it any wonder that someone shoots first and asks questions second? FYI: Its a constitutional right to protect both life and property.....by second amendment force if required. This person is never subject to Murder charges if this thief was on their property....the worst that can happen is Manslaughter due to excessive force. 1st degree murder requires PREMEDITATED actions.....when someone acts in fear and self defense....there is no murder. If someone is bold enough to come on your property while you are at home.....they just might be bold enough to be strapped. I would shoot first, and if the thief was unarmed....he would find a realistic looking air pistol laying next to him with his finger prints on it.....one that you can pick up at any local flea market.
