270 plots of dirt. that is how you define America. The one with the most plots of dirt winds the election, not the person with the most votes. Funny, not mentioned in my civics classes.

I did not say it was. I said that the electoral college assures us that the one without the most votes will sometimes get in office. That cannot be justified. Why is the electoral college allowed? It is an anachronism that was designed to placate the slave owners. We do not permit slaves anymore.It should be scrapped.

Trump won 241 Congressional districts to Clinton’s 194

Trump won in 30 states Clinton in only 20

This may be the first time in ten years of posting at JPP that I have been able to teach a liberal anything. It's a simple thing, but it's a start. I had long ago given up hope.
