"Presumption of innocence" is a courtesy we extend to the accused in a criminal trial.
Judge Kavanaugh was not on trial. Judge Kavanaugh was at a job interview.
And due to the absence of more substantive evidence like a smoking gun, or a well-preserved DNA sample, our senators had to rely on the FBI's professionalism, and their own discretion in evaluating testimony.

b) Those with the libertarian credentials have never claimed to believe in a magic economy.
c) Ayn Rand and Dr. Milton Friedman have left strong impressions on libertarianism. Dr. Friedman was not only an influential economist. Dr. Friedman also won a Nobel prize in economics. His Nobel prize was not a prize for magicians.
