As am I. Local elections as well. I would prefer Senators be appointed by state legislatures as it was and should be. The Presidency is way too important for the Popular vote. Without the Electoral College, urban shitholes like LA, Chicago, NYC would always get the upper hand in dictating the National Agenda.

Not to change the subject, but I was curious. Are there ever any circumstances where government assistance is justified in your view? In mine, I like the reforms of 1996 because it forces recipients to take more responsibility and a more active role in their lives. However, people who are legitimately unable to work because of permanent provable disabilities should be helped.
