Huh? Isn’t it using your free will to make the choice? If God truly gave us free will to decide, why will he punish us for using our free will?

I didnt give my children free will when it came to my rules. Their was no choice, they knew the rules, if they broke the rules there were consequences. I didn’t tell them, it’s your choice. Because good choices have good consequences and negative choices have negative consequences; plus even you admitted this and explained why there are punishments.
