Default US unemployment rate lowest since 1969

he U.S. economy added 134,000 jobs in September below analysts' expectations while the unemployment rate was 3.7 percent, the lowest since 1969.

Analysts polled by Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters) forecast that the U.S. economy would add 185,000 jobs in September with the unemployment rate ticking down to 3.8 percent. In August, the unemployment rate was 3.9 percent.

Wages increased by 0.3 percent in September, taking the 12-month wage growth to 2.8 percent.

“Another solid jobs report; not too hot and not too cold ,” Kate Warne, investment strategist at Edward Jones told FOX Business.

Warne is not concerned about the lower-than-expected number of jobs created in September, noting revisions within the past two months, which in total put the number of jobs created, in line with expectations.

It doesn’t matter, because wages aren’t keeping up and with hostile forces work against labor the average worker feels powerless.

article is blocked for me. what do you mean?
wages are about 2.8-2.9% increases as well as a lot of "in kind" and bonus pay. Inflation is 2.1

and the growth is GOOD JOBS -like manufacturing. You know the one's Obama said aren't coming back?

What kind of jobs are they?

    Who can live on them?

Do they include any benefits at all?

Or are all the benefits for Wall Street and the rich....

    THANKS OBAMA

AMERICAN HISTORY ITSELF IS A TESTAMENT TO THE STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE OF AFRICAN PEOPLE. WE, ALONG WITH THE COURGE AND SACRIFICES OF CONSCIOUS WHITE AMERICANS, LIKE VIOLA LIUZZO, EVERETT DIRKSEN, AND MANY OTHERS, HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED TOGETHER FOR OUR FREEDOM, AND FOR OUR SURVIVAL.

In America, rights are are not determined by what is just, fair, equitable, honest, nor by what Jesus would do. Rights are determined ONLY by what you can DEMAND.

Too bad minimum wage is still peanuts.

I'll be impressed when it reaches at least $20.00 within a year or so.

Otherwise these jobs are paying slave wages whilst the rich gets richer.

Another meldown is near because that's what capitalism does, and when it does again, we will once again redistribute more even societal wealth to the Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class via socialism for their birth right benefit.
