Nobody has bowed, Trump blew it, as I said previously, they framed the testimonies on national TV as a "he said/she said" dichotomy anticipating she would come off looking like a dimwit, Bret the altar boy, and the whole thing would be forgotten. Shocking to them, she didn't, quite the opposite, leaving the question of why don't they investigate in the public view.
From there, Mitch didn't have the votes, so they had to grant an investigation, but they were damn sure it would be limited, brief, kept secret, and fall right on schedule to allow a vote by the weekend
Forget the "bowed" and accommodating to everything, Trump blundered from the offset

That is the biggest bunch of horseshit I have heard on this board in a while. I did not expect it from you Archives. Democrats deliberately tried to sink this and drag it out until after the midterms, hoping they will gain seats. They certainly did not help that hope with this stunt.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Ah, the Lindsey conspiracy, now how in the hell were the Democrats going to postpone anything when they don't have the necessary votes? In the unlikelihood Bret did bite the bullet, Trump and Mitch would have had a candidate up and approved in three months, the problem was Bret was an awful nominee and Trump blundered the nomination process
And the whole thing in the end just might aid the Democrats in gaining seats
