Democrats won’t have to go after him if they can delay his confirmation vote till after the midterm elections if they take back the Senate.

Catch 22.......delaying the confirmation vote likely will cost them two additional seats in the senate in addition to the two they will already lose.......

Republicans will indeed put Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court no matter what. That's obvious.

Make no mistake about it, democrats will come after him after they retake the House and quite possibly the Senate.

Even if the Democrats win a majority in the Senate they will not have the 2/3 majority necessary for conviction. And it is certain they will not try to impeach both Trump and Kavanaugh.

Impeachment and removal are two separate acts. It only takes a majority to impeach but 2/3 to convict and remove. Democrats will not have close to 2/3 even if they win a Senate majority. Since Democrats don't have the 2/3 to convict it would be a huge waste of time for them to impeach both Trump and Kavanaugh and fail to convict because it will create a strong backlash against them (except among the most partisan).

That is Leon. He is 15 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He is not fat, he is just a really big cat.

Tell me about the waste of time impeaching Bill Clinton was. Time didn't seem to be an issue then.

I know the difference between impeachment and removal .. and I know what it takes for both.

Trump will be impeached .. you probably already know that .. and if you don't, that's another story.

In some ways, impeachment is a better outcome.

The seat will probably be left vacant until 2021 if democrats retake the Senate.

Democrats should not shy away from what must be done because it won't be easy.

Democratic voters are tired of the weakness of too many of their politicians.
