What is it about Supreme Picrt nominations that lead these traumatized women to finally find the strength?

One thing I can tell you with categorical certainty. The mouth-breathers who are saying they don't understand why a 15 year old teenage girl would not report an attempted rape by a male classmate, are guys that do not have girlfriends or daughters, and probably have very limited interactions and relationships with women in general.

It would actually be very unusual for a girl to report it in such a situation.

It's really not hard to understand why the idea of someone who assaulted you (if true) sitting on the Supreme Court would be the impetus for finally reporting.

This is very basic stuff. It's not the grand mystery you guys are making it out to be. And really, you have to tell some on your side - including Trump - that reporting right away is an extremely difficult thing to do and that not doing so is actually fairly common.
