Somebody had the damn sense to finally take his phone away?
PoliTalker (09-21-2018)
What a week President Trump has turned out to be. I’m not sure we ever had a president so weak. He whines about hating his attorney general, yet won’t fire him... He has had his telephone taken away from him by his minders.... The adults in the White House finished their coup d’état. Trump is the weakest president we’ve ever had.

They took his phone? Lmfao. Good. We are all safer.
But his ability to stir up trouble via phone calls may be hindered. Trump was known to answer his phone even when he didn’t recognize the number, leading to unusual chats with reporters or heads of state. Some aides reportedly “expressed relief” that only a few people will have his new number.
President Obama fought to keep his phone, and the Secret Service let him have a heavily modified BlackBerry. Later he switched to an iPhone that had limited capabilities, which he had joked is like the phone you let a toddler play with. Obama was able to send tweets using his iPhone, as it did not occur to anyone at the time that giving the president Twitter access could pose a national security risk.
Also, I heard they rewired the red button on his desk to order a coke instead of launch the missiles.
