guno's post is perfectly cogent and logical.

His problem is that he attacks all white gentiles as though they were Banjofuck or Bullshit Blob.

There have been far too many of us fully devoted to the progressive liberal cause, so he should really knock that shit off.

Most every rant from guno is about 'pork-gobblers', 'Christians', 'white people'.

THIS thread ... guno talks reasonably and logically ... I prefer that. I agree with his assessment.
guno has never talked reasonably or logically. I disagree with his assessment...of anything.

    "Wrong" = monosyllabic.

I'd did not mean to say they were members of Democratic party.

One native said, "I don't need no friggin draft animal! I need a machete!"

I'd did not mean to say they were stupid and impractical.

China banned certain inventions from even being known by the public.

How do you think the third world "advanced"? A foreign entity entered the scene and brought new technologies.

Many modern day world architectural buildings were by foreigners ie:

The Imperial Hotel was the best-known of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings in Japan.
The structure famously survived the Great Kantō earthquake on September 1, 1923 (7.9 on the Moment magnitude scale)

    Did Arabia invent air-conditioning?

Hey Guano! You need to update your database. The city of Jericho has been unearthed. And guess what? The walls of that city were destroyed. And they fell outward. Just like the Bible says. Btw. Lack of evidence does not mean that something didn't happen, or someone didn't exist. Also, for every old testament person or event, you mentioned there is historical evidence. It's called the old testament. Like it or not, it is a historical document. That's the truth.

Really does not matter as long as what one has faith in does no harm to others. What harm have you suffered because others choose to believe in a God you cannot prove does not exist anymore then they can prove He does? In fact, if you had bothered to read the article, there is more evidence for the existence of Christ, just one of your false comments, then there is for Caesar.

Faith in the unknown has actually changed lives. Faith in atheism has changed no ones life. In fact, it has destroyed lives such as Stalin, Freud, and numerous others.
"2Timothy 3 "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away"

Which Jericho? There were 11 of them... earthquakes, you know.

Atheism isn't a faith, it is disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods based on no verifiable proof.

Tell us about a man living in the belly of a big fish for 3 days.
Tell us how kangaroos, wombats, sloths, etc. survived the travel all the way from Turkey to Australia without having offspring until they arrived at their destination.

Just those two to start with. We can talk about the boat story and rainbows in greater detail later.

Here is another problem for the Atheist. How do you not believe in something you cannot prove does not exist?

    By faith.

Mans different gods are a product of time and geography , if you were born in India you most probably be a Hindu, in Saudi Arabia , a Muslim and so on and so on and so on
And if you had been born in prehistoric times it might have been fire, or an animal. Even a tree. But they all believed in God. And even those that believed in more then one God, there is always that one superior God over all. Atheism is a late bloomer in the annals of time.

    Genesis 1: 26

"And God said, 'Let USmake man in OUR image....
What's that got to do with skin tone? China and Africa have never colonised the Middle East. I expect some people think it matters rather a lot, like Americans still carrying guns to fight George 111.

    BOTTOM LINE:

Anyone who asserts there are gods (or there is A GOD)...is simply sharing a blind guess about the unknown.

Anyone who asserts there are no gods...is simply sharing a blind guess about the unknown.

Why don't we all agree that whether there are gods or no gods...is something we DO NOT KNOW...and can only blindly guess about.

    ADDED NOTE:

There is absolutely no way one can arrive at "At least one god exists" using reason, logic, math, or science.

There also is no way to arrive at "It is more likely that at least one god exists than that no gods exist" using reason, logic, math, or science.

    Conversely...

...there is absolutely no way one can arrive at "No gods exist" using reason, logic, math, or science...

...and there is no way to arrive at "It is more likely that there are no gods than that there is at least one god" using reason, logic, math, or science.

Yeah, most people in the West are concerned.

And, PS: The only reason for the 2nd Amendment (guns) is to overthrow an oppressive government. (You know, like one that would use Helicopter Gunships and Battle Tanks on Farm Families in rural communities, like Waco).
