~ “I’m watching now and screaming,” a Fox News personality says
Fox News came in for some more bed press Tuesday with the publication of a blistering new CNN report detailing internal discontent over the network’s coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
CNN reporter Oliver Darcy wrote that his network received a text message from a “Fox News personality” who wanted to jump ship over the network’s handling of the news.
“I’m watching now and screaming … I want to quit,” the unnamed individual told CNN. Another “senior Fox News employee” told CNN that they felt the network was becoming too beholden to President Donald Trump.
“It is another blow to journalists at Fox who come in every day wanting to cover the news in a fair and objective way,” said the employee. “Fox feels like an extension of the Trump White House.”
A Fox News spokeswoman told TheWrap in response to the report: “The network covered the breaking news accurately and fairly across both news and opinion programming.”

Fox News released a statement on April 16, 2018 attributed to Hannity: "Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective. I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third party."[
Hannity tweeted that his discussions with Cohen were "almost exclusively" about real estate

After Ailes’ public ouster in August 2016, Fox News settled sexual harassment claims involving O’Reilly and two former employees. The first was Fox anchor Laurie Dhue, who complained the Factor host of sexual harassment and settled for $1 million. The other was Juliet Huddy, co-host of Fox & Friends First, Fox & Friends Weekend and DaySide, who alleged O’Reilly made passes at her and tried to have her fired when she rejected them. Huddy also said, like both Mackris and Diamond before her, that O’Reilly called her on the phone while audibly masturbating. Fox News settled that claim, too, covering both O’Reilly’s legal fees and playing Huddy a reported $1.6 million.
thanks god this flaming asshole is dead, hope he's rotting in Hell with all the other right wing scumbags, just sayin
Roger Ailes, who died Thursday at age 77, led Fox News for two decades before his ouster last summer amid a sexual harassment scandal.
The last year of his life could be his most historically significant: He saw the election of Donald Trump, a candidate his network had promoted and he personally had advised.
It was also the year his legacy was disgraced.
July 6, 2016: Gretchen Carlson files suit against Ailes
Carlson, a former Fox News host, sends shock waves through the media world when she claims she was terminated for "refusing Ailes' sexual advances."
Ailes denies the accusations, saying, "This is a retaliatory suit for the network's decision not to renew her contract."
Fox's parent company, 21st Century Fox, (FOX) opens an internal review.
July 19, 2016: Megyn Kelly
New York Magazine reports that Megyn Kelly, one of the network's biggest stars, told 21st Century Fox investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her a decade earlier.
July 21, 2016: Ailes leaves Fox News
Shrouded in scandal, Ailes resigns from Fox News, ending his 20-year run at the network.
Rupert Murdoch, the head of 21st Century Fox, becomes the channel's chairman and acting CEO.
July 29, 2016: Laurie Luhn
New York magazine reports that Luhn, a former Fox News booker, has told investigators in the internal probe that she was harassed by Ailes for more than 20 years and that Fox News knew about it.
"It was psychological torture," she tells the magazine.

As Scandals Crest, Fox News Once More Under Siege
Fox News Channel is once more under siege, facing several concurrent scandals and legal challenges scattered across different courtrooms, and casting a pall over the network's executive suites.
Fresh and harsh scrutiny cast on star host Bill O'Reilly over allegations that he sexually harassed multiple women has given major corporations pause about associating themselves with the top-rated figure in cable news.
