Listen...Kavanaugh is almost certainly going to be confirmed. (Probably 70 - 30 at best right now.)

My guess is that Grassley and his henchmen will skewer Ford...in the typical "nice, but fair" way those trilobites do.

The Democrats cannot do shit to stop what happens next.

The investigation should happen...probably won't.

My hope is that Ford is convincing and there is at least a chance that your side loses this fight.

How are they going to investigate something that occurred decades ago and only three people allegedly witnessed? Interviews are pointless because it will come down to he said/she said or they said/they said.

They can’t even establish if Kavanaugh was there or not because ‘there’s no there’—-Ford can’t even recall where it happened.

It’s fricking absurd.

Don’t you find it strange that the people who supposedly remembered Ford talking about the incident don’t know where the party happened either? Must have been a boring party lol.

A traumatic event occurred—but nobody seems to remember where it happened. That strikes me as odd. I partied regularly when I was just a few years older than Ford and I can recall lots of specific places I partied at. And this was longer then 36 years ago. And I’m pretty sure if I thought I was going to come to grave harm at one of the parties—I’d at least recall where it happened even if I didn’t get the year right.

It’s just not credible to me.
