I'm especially looking forward to see if Congressmen Orr is going to lower himself, once again, to use his same old hateful tactic of comparing Mrs. Ford to Linda Blair's head spinning around and spitting up pea soup in the Exorcist movie- like in the way he associated Anita Hill in the Thomas hearings in 1991.

I think, if he tries to use that tactic now in this "ME Too" era, he will be the one who ends up looking like the Linda Blair character.

I expect this will go about like in 1991- Once again- where what is actually on trial is "Women"! Because that is how the last one turned out. It seems the Republicans painted women out to be just whores in general and can't be trusted!

Let me just say this- America's women voters will all be watching the completely male Republican interrogators on the approval panel, and if they even try to character assassinate Mrs. Ford in any way like they did Anita Hill, I believe it will start the biggest Blue Wave ever seen in this country.

I believe that there will be plenty of airplay of the Anita Hill Character Assassinations of 1991 for all to see.

I re-watched some of them last night and that kind of stuff will be hard to watch for most people today- even for most Republican Women!

The Thomas Approval hearings were a sham and a disgrace, and I believe everyone should see the films on it as a prerequisite to Monday's hearings!

enate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next week’s high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesn’t accept the committee’s invitation.

Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

Grassley said on The Hugh Hewitt Show.

Asked whether there would be a hearing if Ford did not agree to appear, Grassley suggested he couldn’t see a reason to hold one.

“What would be the purpose of the hearing if Dr. Ford doesn’t want to respond?” Grassley said.

In the case Ford accepts the invitation, Grassley said he is considering the possibility of having an independent questioner ask all the questions to Ford.
