Raw Story just published an article from Politico saying only 2 of the 65 women said they support him.
How did Grassley pull together a list of 65 women to defend Kavanaugh within hours of the allegation?
Because they either knew about Kavanaugh's past and had been trying to cover it up, or because Grassley and the GOP simply just forged the letter.
The only way to clear this up is to subpoena all 65 of Kavanaugh's female supporters to have them testify under oath when they were approached to sign onto that letter.

65 not attacked and at least one attacked......I'll take those odds
Facebook Suppressed a Story About Brett Kavanaugh’s Opposition to Roe v. Wade. We’re Republishing It.
https://theintercept.com/2018/09/14/...publishing-it/
Brett Kavanaugh said he would kill Roe v. Wade last week and almost no one noticed
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh needs to give Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) plausible deniability regarding his anti-abortion views. Collins, who is nominally pro-choice, said shortly before Kavanaugh’s nomination that a Supreme Court nominee “who would overturn Roe v. Wade would not be acceptable to me.” But she’s spent much of the time since his nomination looking for excuses to claim that Kavanaugh’s views on Roe are uncertain.
Well, they aren’t. Even before Kavanaugh became a Supreme Court nominee, his record indicated fairly clearly that he opposes Roe. And he cleared up any remaining doubt on the second day of his confirmation hearing — despite the fact that almost no one noticed.
Even before his hearing, Kavanaugh’s views on abortion weren’t exactly a state secret. He gave a speech to a conservative think tank in 2017 praising Justice William Rehnquist’s dissent in Roe v. Wade, and he wrote an opinion arguing that the Trump administration could temporarily imprison undocumented women who were seeking an abortion.

Grassley magically produced this letter within hours of the accusations.
So that means the GOP knew about this (and possibly more) long ago and had been trying to obstruct it from the public.
We can clear this up very simply by issuing subpoenas for every single one of the 65 women who signed that letter, and ask them when they were approached to sign it (if they were even approached at all).
I think Grassley and the GOP forged that letter. I doubt they could even find 6 women who would testify to Kavanaugh character, let alone 65.

Or...............
Republicans know the democrat party play book and had it ready to go for the inevitable hail mary.
What they probably didn't foresee was them doing it this close to voting.
Kavanaugh did not attempt to rape her

But how would the GOP have known to get women Brett knew in high school to sign onto his character letter? Obviously because they were aware of these allegations long before they were made public. So the GOP actively tried to hide incidents from his past because they knew it would affect his confirmation.
So that's fraud. And going so far as to forge a letter really shows how desperate the GOP is to get Kavanaugh confirmed. It's pretty obvious why; he's their lifejacket for when the Special Counsel's report shows misdeeds not just by Trump w/ Russia, but the GOP as well.
So what else are they hiding? Maybe there's more in the 96% of documents the GOP refuses to make public from Kavanaugh's time as a Bush the Dumber toady.

Her story sure sounds like he did.
Now who should I believe? A professor who put her reputation and safety on the line, or Conservatives who lied and tried to cover up this (and probably more) incidents from Kavanaugh's past, and who refuse to release 96% of the e-mails from Kav's time in the Bush the Dumber Clown Show?

It's not really a matter of buying it - it's how much weight to give it.
I have no idea if he did this. But because he didn't assault woman A has very little to do w/ whether or not he assaulted woman B.
She's willing to testify under oath.
What of the 65 women Conservatives say signed onto the letter expressing support for Brett?
Let's bring them under oath as well.
Maybe they can clear up for us how Grassley managed to locate them and reach out to them in the hours between when the accusation was made public, and when Grassley released the letter of support for him that they supposedly signed.

There are 200 women from my high school class that could swear, as far as they knew, I was a virgin. But there were 211 women in my high school class. This is a stupid concept. Just exactly like interviewing a few hundred people from Obama's college saying they never seen him, somehow proving he didn't go to college there. Silly.
