    Hurricane intensity has actually DECREASED.

Table 5, which lists hurricanes by decades since 1900, shows that during the twenty year period 1960-1979 both the number and intensity of landfalling U.S. hurricanes decreased sharply! Based on 1900-1959 statistics, the expected number of hurricanes and major hurricanes during the period 1960-1979 was 36 and 15, respectively. But, in fact, only 27 (or 75%) of the expected number of hurricanes struck the U.S. with only 10 major hurricanes or 67% of that expected number. The decade of the eighties showed little change to this trend. Even the decade of the nineties, showed below average landfall frequencies. It could be noted that of the most recent four decades, only the 70's and 90's were significantly below normal.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Yep, it's making landfall as a cat 2. People less experienced at this don't realize a cat 2 is much like a bad thunderstorm.

My opposition to your hoax claim isn't based on attitude. That's an emotional argument and you always lose with that one. It's based on facts, something you should learn.

According to all global warming hoax believers, there were supposed to be more and more due to what they say is occurring.

Yeah let's just ignore the whole past 20 years when hurricanes were at their worst and the climate was hottest.

The most intense hurricanes affecting the U.S. start in the atmosphere over W. Africa. I'll make a deal with you. If Africa stop sending the hurricanes, all the black people will be sent to Africa.

You didn't even read it or the article. UPDATED IN 1997

Maybe about 10 total with 5 being major from 2000>2017.

The article and table shows the difference of intensity from the non-CO2phobic days to the more recent CO2phobic days. Intensity has decreased in the now supposed 'climatechangeglobalwarmingCO2' times.

Gotta respectfully disagree. CAT2 is no picnic.

I don't evacuate for them. The ones I've experienced have been like bad storms. Minimal, if any, damage occurs from those winds. No roofs will be ripped off and the like....

Oh I agree. I've never evacuated in my life. I've lived in sturdy structures and been prepared. Donna, Camille, Andrew, Francis, Jeanne, Irma...all in Florida, sits on limestone, water drains relatively quickly. Now if I lived in N.O. or the coast of the Carolinas during a hurricane? I'd probably get out.

How about all the leftard climate change zombies who get THEIR houses flooded or blown apart, and all their shingles are peeled off, and the toilets are backed up by flooding for a week, and their cell phones die. Who do they vote for? And let's say a cat 15 storm comes through and wipes out the homes and businesses of every conservative from Florida to California and they are converted to mouth breathing, man-bun wearing twinkle puff "democratic socialists". What are your commissars going to do about the hurricanes?(don't say raise taxes on the rich, that's a given. I just have a sneaking suspicion that won't do dooky against "climate change")

Yeah. There were none for some 12 years that hit the US mainland. It's a fact. Inconvenient fact for you. You don't really care about science when it proves you wrong. You're just a typical alarmist that ignores anything that they know will force them to see evidence that would change their mind if they were honest. It's just like religious people who defend their pedo preists or the sports nuts that defended Papa Joe.
