Being pro business isn't my top priority. Business in this country are doing just fine.
Here's what you don't understand for some strange reason.

Businesses are made up of people. People run businesses. People who run businesses hire people to help run the businesses. They get paid, they get benefits and they feel good that they're working, doing something constructive and earning a living. It gives them pride and self-respect. And they pay taxes.

You really think a politician can do that better than a business? I sure as hell don't.
Your comment "I want a politician who will put the American people first" is kinda ambiguous. Give me some examples of what a politician can do to "put the American people first".

And why all the hate towards business? Without successful businesses and capitalism, we don't have a country. This great country was built on capitalism, not government. And many businesses are NOT doing just fine. Many small businesses are teetering on the fence between profitability and bankruptcy. If you raise the minimum wage to $15 or raise corporate taxes, that could push many businesses over the edge from profitability to bankruptcy. If that happens, people become unemployed and end up on unemployment or welfare and are a drag on the system.

Your ideas are too simplistic. John F Kennedy (a democrat) said "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country". Don't vote for a candidate because he said he can give you free healthcare or free tuition. He can't. It's a lie. Don't fall for it. The government CAN NOT do things more efficiently than private industry. It will be more expensive and poorer quality.
Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

Don't tell me about business in this country. This country has a history discriminating against Blacks in their hiring practices. There are lots business's who do not offer benefits and pay slave wages THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK FOR TAX CUTS. Most business's in the country are ran by white people. There are still banks who discriminate against Blacks who want small business loans.

And as for paying taxes, most business have loop holes where they pay little to no taxes already. It's exactly why we get in the situations we do, because BUSINESS'S DONT WANT TO PAY TAXES.

All the other "earning a living, self respect and pride" nonsense sounds straight from the right wing play book.

You really think a politician can do that better than a business? I sure as hell don't.

That's not what I said, but I'll entertain the right wing nonsense anyway. I expect the government to regulate business just as they regulate people. ......specifically Blacks and minorities. I want a politician who will fight for equal rights in all aspects of society including business. I don't want Walmart making decisions for this country when I pay taxes to the government to. As a person who doesn't have to worry about discrimination or oppression, I'm sure you are clueless about the history of why government is hated so much.

Your comment "I want a politician who will put the American people first" is kinda ambiguous. Give me some examples of what a politician can do to "put the American people first".

He can fight for wage increases because if left of to business's we would still be working for penny's....which we are now.

And why all the hate towards business? Without successful businesses and capitalism, we don't have a country.

Don't project your hatred for the government onto me hating business. I never said I hated business, I said it wasn't my top priority. This country was built on free slave labor and business is continuing with that by paying it's employees as little as possible, not paying taxes and investing in slave labor through the Prison Industrial Complex.....and they have people like you to thank for it.

This great country was built on capitalism, not government.

Again, this "great" country was built on free slave labor which is continuing today. You're hatred for government is showing your true colors. Do you even know why you hate government?

And many businesses are NOT doing just fine. Many small businesses are teetering on the fence between profitability and bankruptcy. If you raise the minimum wage to $15 or raise corporate taxes, that could push many businesses over the edge from profitability to bankruptcy. If that happens, people become unemployed and end up on unemployment or welfare and are a drag on the system.

Ahhh, the old lower taxes to fix business. I've heard it all before. You want government to stay out of the way until you want tax breaks, subsidies, and handouts because you can't run your business. Maybe if you stop discriminating and hire people other than family members your business can stay afloat. Lying to the American people and blaming it on the government and taxes because you can't turn a profit is a kop out. Or perhaps you should stop making shitty products that don't sell. Either way, it's not up to the American people to give you a tax break or accept slave wages to keep you in business. Business's have been getting breaks for decades.

Funny......you might as well put me on your ignore list. I don't believe ANYTHING that comes from racist white men. They hate the government as well.

The government can sure as hell give business free shit by using tax payers money.

I hope I made myself clear. Doesn't matter if you agree.

Thanks cawacko. I feel strongly about it.
We have the best capitalist system in the world. The only thing that can hurt it is being overtaxed and overregulated by our inefficient, bureaucratic federal government.

People get so caught up in politics and partisanship and lose sight at how important what you wrote is. Think of the young people who think so highly of socialism. Part of that is just the ignorance of youth but part of it is we don't teach them about the economic engine that has made America so great. It's something that is taken for granted or even looked down upon in certain circles.

Kamala on Kavanaugh: 'We have the receipts'

Kamala Harris @SenKamalaHarris 2h2 hours ago

Brett Kavanaugh coached Bush's judicial nominees to give the same kind of vague answers he gave us on Roe v. Wade this week. We have the receipts.

Check out TTQ64's response to my little essay above. He's so far out in 'left' field, I wonder if it's even worth responding to. He's the Bizzaro CFM.
If you want to, be my guest.

Let me make a wild guess here: you're not white.
And before you call me a racist white man, please point out the comment in my post that drew you to that conclusion.
