Impeachment is not front and center. Some leftys and a few rightys are offended by Trump's lack of ethics and values. He is a terrible person who should not be president. But for now, we are stuck with him. The fact that some people are calling for it, does not make it a real story. When Nixon resigned he still had that 28 percent of rightys backing him. Party first.

He's not going to be impeached, period.
it simply is not possible.
The impeachment process requires far too many numbers games that just are not there. Not for the things he is being accused of. twenty or so republicans in the senate would have to vote for it. It's possible I suppose but not for the crimes mentioned so far. simply impossible, political suicide is not a thing in the Senate.

What is disturbing is that beyond little doubt the Democrats plan on taking this silly charade as far as they can, even without an end game.
And CNN just loves the story, their fire is stoked by every little turn of events. Even the num-nuts have to see they are playing to your hysteria.

I'll be the first to say, if Trump actually wrote a check from campaign funds to silence a bimbo, then prosecute him by all means.

Impeachment is only a possibility if the GOP gets hammered so hard in November that Republicans see continuing complicity in his crimes as a bigger threat to their jobs than pissing off the yahoos in the base would be. I don't see that happening.
