More jobs created in alternative fuels. They are safer jobs and slash pollution. That is long-term prosperity. Using fossil fuels makes a ton of money for oil companies who do not have to pay for the damage they create. They pass on the health costs to the people. They use tax money for cleaning up after them. You are a suck up to large corporations and the wealthy. Try living near a refinery.
