Default Conserving Oil No Longer A Priority?

Well, according to Trump anyway. But he wants to end regulations increasing MPG.

And if that it true then there is no reason to open ANWR to drilling.

Then too, we know that in order to placate his rich oil donors he has to do something.

And from such people turn away"

This seems pretty myopic to me.. There are serious bottlenecks in getting oil moved to refineries from the Permian Basin and Canada's WTI is getting hammered at $40 a barrel for the same reasons.

We will probbly see oil prices all over the board this year and next.. Higher prices at some point. Libyan production is flat again. Not the time to get sloppy IMO.

Trump is creating a corporate America just like you guys wanted. Look at the FCC and ending net neutrality. Think that was done for the people? Why have environmental laws and fight for clean land, air and water? It could cost the wealthy corporations a few buck in clean up. Can't have that.

How have you been personally harmed by the end of net neutrality?

    Be specific

Too soon to tell. Lets wait until all of the lawsuits have been settled, and which of the States are going to impose Net Neutrality on their own.

It is coming. they will be throttling soon enough. But the FCC just approved it all a couple months ago. It started June 11th and it will take time to set it up . https://www.theverge.com/2018/6/11/1...i-fcc-internet It will end up costing internet vusers a lot.

Do you understand the dangers of fossil fuels? ..Of course not. Be happy that the adults do and will fight for your health.

Fracking will make drilling in remote places increasingly rare whether or not someone elects to buy the leases just in case or for tax reasons as there may be a combination of accounting quirks that theoretically at least could allow the company to depreciate the undeveloped land.

As for the CAFE standards, Obama's were likely too aggressive to begin with (as in unrealistic) but pressure by others than the US fed could still drive improvements in fuel economy.

Since my classic gets 14mpg on 93 octane I'd like to see the price of oil as low as possible.

My 1990 F150 gets 1 m per 14 gal so yep me too.

It was my dead grandfather's truck so I keep it around for sentimental reasons. I drive it about once a month just to keep it running. Man that thing is a piece of crap, but blasting country music riding around in it makes me feel him present in my life for a few minutes still.

My '64 TBird was a POC, but after dumping $50k into at over four years it's a nice car again. LOL
