Russia is FREAKING OUT! Not the DEMS or our MSM, but Russian TV and its punditry class and even academia. They're afraid they're going to lose TRUMP!
Russian state media freaks out about the prospect of a Democratic Congress: ‘The fate of Trump is at stake’

Russia’s state media is panicking about the prospects of Democrats retaking the House of Representatives this fall.
Julia Davis, who runs the Russian Media Monitor website, has written a roundup of recent Russian state TV coverage for the Daily Beast that reveals hosts are terrified that a Democratic House might either impeach President Donald Trump or pass a “sanctions from hell” bill that would drop a hammer on the Russian economy.
“Stankevich, the head of the international affairs committee for the Party of Growth, argued that the very fate of Trump is at stake in the midterm elections,” writes Davis. “Vitaly Tretyakov, dean of Moscow State University’s School of Television, insisted with a certain note of irony that Russia should act decisively in response to the new sanctions, pressuring Trump by threatening to withdraw Russian support...

Trump can't win without that Russian support!
Will they call in his loans?
political and economic rapprochement is taking place between Russia and China in a number of fields: energy, arms production, trade in national currencies and strategic projects in transport and supporting infrastructure. This development, fostered by Western policies and actions, including sanctions related to Ukraine, appears to be strengthening despite reservations related to uneasy precedents, contrasting visions and uncertain economic projections. Chinese policies aiming at European markets via the revival of the Silk Road assist this development. The One Belt-One Road is projected as an alternative, or supplement, to the maritime routes made unsafe by contiguous countries' unrest, criminality and the assertive control of the seas by the United States. While Russia, promoting friendly investment structures, moves eastwards to develop the Russian Far East bordering China, the latter expands westwards engaging in laborious negotiations with Central Asian countries and costly investments in infrastructure and logistics. In each area, the article maintains that both countries, despite economic and political competition and fear of losing control, have interest in cooperation and discusses the areas where this is taking place, albeit slowly and with difficulty. Whether economic cooperation can develop into a strategic alliance including defence is discussed in the light of joint military exercises, arms trade and plans to broaden the scope of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation

It’s weird because Trump has been tougher on Russia than any previous post-cold war pres.
Russia is a NON-PLAYER in the GDP game compared to us BUT if Russia and China chose to 'partner', it could EASILY cost us seriously. Having said that China's exports to US represent how much of their GDP? We are by far China's largest trading partner so I am assuming our 'business' is huge chunk of their GDP. They better not get too cozy with Russia.
