Pay special attention to the segment about the "expert" surgeon who testified several times with a weirdly changing story that takes on plenty of different incarnations. I notice that same type of behavior among Conservatives on boards like JPP. People who make wild claims about themselves, but then hide behind the anonymity the internet provides them as they make blatantly false statements, usually anecdotal, about their personal circumstances. Then those circumstances weirdly start changing and shifting in order to fit the narrative instead of the other way around.

What it means is that Conservatives lend their garbage arguments credibility by making shit up about themselves, hoping no one will ask to verify it. Then when they do, the liar just says "well, I don't have to tell the truth because I'm not under oath".

Get used to it, the Robert's Court, by design, has redefined what "freedom of speech" means, we certianly know that from Citizens United. Wouldn't be at all surprised if someday you see a number of product warning notices disappear because such will be defined as "forcing someone to say something they don't want to"

They are using the First Amendment to advance conservative causes. The politicians disguise it as deregulation, the Courts, freedom of speech, but it is all the same

Millions upon millions of people are on Facebook. About 25 people are on JPP. If i was to attempt to influence people via social media I'm going to Facebook and Twitter, not JPP. No guarantee it would work but a much bigger audience

I don't see how that relates here. Even if all 25 posters on this board agreed with me it changes nothing. If I can get millions to agree with me on Facebook or twitter then I can possibly affect real change
