According to your own material, despite being raised in apparently underprivileged circumstances (apparently, a single-parent family after the age of seven, as well as the usual handicaps of being black and female in this society), she received a bachelor's degree and a masters degree, was working on a doctorate, and eventually rose to the level of a fairly high-profile position in the White House. That doesn't sound like someone who cannot read, does it? I may not like what she represents in our culture (the same sewer-crawling sensibility that gave us one president who was a B-movie cowboy and another who was a reality TV host), but it seems likely she must have a lot going on, mentally, to rise from obscurity and disadvantage to academic and career accomplishment surpassing what most Americans will achieve in their lifetimes.
