California needs to be cut up. Calexit needs to happen.

Allow the conservative portions to remain in the union. And get rid of the leftist protion that allows illegals. Let them become Mexico jr, and a homeless refuse like San Fran. It will be fun to watch.
Keep changing the names. It doesn't change the meaning.

So you admit you don't have a link to your claim that all these forest fires occurred on federal land?? BTW - the people in Redding CA will certainly disagree with you.

San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego are not on fire.

The places that are on fire are rural areas of California, "red" parts of the state where the majority of people undoubtedly voted for Trump.

It would be interesting to hear what these people think of Trump supporters advocating abandoning them to their fate.

No. But they should insist that fire mitigation be reinstated. After logging was outlawed they pretty much stopped all fire mitigation causing worsening fires that they now try to claim as global warming. While warming may play a part, the fact that the mitigation that used to take place when logging was a functioning business no longer takes place is IMO a larger contributor.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Then give them a FEMA trailer and an acre of land in Alabama....the parts away from the coast line. Either way it will be cheaper than rebuilding all the burned out houses and infrastructure. This cycle is is not random. Fire now, mudslides in six months.

there are areas of the country that require exterior sprinkler systems in forested areas.

Are you talking about the Mendocino fire, the Carr fire, or what? Redding sets in the middle of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest (as if you had ever been there), and is in the middle of the worse drought in California history. The last time I checked Shasta was about 20% of its usual depth. However, the fires themselves began on timber land, and spread to Redding. Try again stupid, or, as you are fond of saying THINK.

I have a friend that lives outside of Redding and they're thinking of moving, because of all the taxes that the Southern part of the State wants to levy on everyone.

Not unlike the Donor Relief Act (Ryan tax cuts) that give a pittance to most middle class and poor folks and COST upper middle class folks in blue states a couple grand...regardless of party

The "conservatives" have the failing part of the State. It is the liberal part that is flourishing. Then too, if you break it up the "conservative" part would be between Mexico, and the liberal part.
