Default Izraelis; ' Assad is good for us.'

‘Butcher’ no more? Assad in charge of Syria good for our security, says Israeli defense minister

    https://www.rt.com/news/434972-israe...d-power-syria/

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman says the looming victory for Damascus may be good news for the Jewish state, suggesting President Bashar Assad can be worked with on issues vital to national security.
Now isn't that amazing ! After all the blood and treasure expended in trying to oust Assad for ' Izrael's security ' - now that Assad has won he's Izrael's bestie !

You can be sure that the USA will very soon be dancing to Izrael's new tune.

About 890,000 Syrian citizens can return to their home country in the coming months, head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev said on Friday. He made the announcement at a meeting of the interdepartmental coordination headquarters supervising the return of refugees to Syria, citing the data provided by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Earlier on Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said 1.7 million people expressed the desire to return to Syria. According to Mizintsev, Lebanon’s regional refugee centers have received around 10,000 applications from Syrian refugees willing to return to their home country, TASS reports.

The slaughter in the Druze region of Syria cost hundreds of lives last month. It happened after the Druze told the Russians they wouldn’t fight for Assad
