Yes, newly converted Catholic, JD Vance is AGAIN lecturing the Pope and the Catholic Church about what matters they should be commenting on.

JD is in scramble mode as Trump continues to try and attack the Pope and turn him into a villain he can fight with, despite the pope refusing to engage.



Whose side are you on when who it is who should decide what world issues the Pope and Catholic church should be able to speak on and which of these do you consider off limits:

- War
- Peace
- kindness and generosity to the immigrant, stranger, new comer, etc
- treatment of 'others' generally


Magats do you stand by Trump and think it is the US gov't and not the Pope who should dictate what world issues the church opines on?

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s representative in Egypt and the Vatican’s ambassador to Cairo condemned recent insults to divine religions and called for strengthening interfaith dialogue.

Mojtaba Ferdowsipour, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s interests section office in Cairo, met with Vatican Ambassador Nicolas Henry Marie Denis Thevenin on Wednesday where they denounced US-Israeli attacks against Iran and its religious sites.

During the meeting, Ferdowsipour expressed appreciation for the Vatican’s stance on the war, describing it as a move in the direction of truth-seeking and support for the rights of nations and international law.

The two envoys discussed Islamic-Christian dialogue and ways to cooperate with Cairo-based Al-Azhar, one of the Sunni Muslim world’s highest authorities, to promote a culture of peaceful coexistence and counter extremism.

Referring to ongoing crises in West Asia, both sides agreed on the need to establish sustainable peace and stability, prioritize diplomacy, and reduce regional tensions. They described dialogue as the main solution to conflicts.
