Question for Democrats

I realize you voted for Kamala because for you anybody is better than Trump. I get that.
But was that your first choice for president?
In 2020 her polling was so bad everywhere, including in her home state, she quit before ever getting one delegate.

Right now the guy from Texas would be my choice. James Talarico. Back then even The old guy Bernie.....HE is not afraid to say what's on his mind without calling people names.

She was educated and highly experienced in politics. I saw no problems, except she did not have time to build an election machine.
In other words, you would have voted for anyone but her to get the nomination, right? ... especially as she was the second most hated woman in America, behind Hillary, ... especially knowing that the only way anyone would attend one of her rallies was at the promise of major celebrities performing at her events, ... especially seeing as how she wasn't waiting for senility to become unable to speak a coherent sentence.

I totally get you.

Bernie got screwed by the Clinton machine from what I remember.
You remember correctly. In 1981, the DNC switched to the "superdelegate" system in order for the party leadership to fully control the party nomination, and to wrest away any voice Democrat voters might have in that process. Fast forward to Bernie Sanders threatening to ruin the DNC's predetermined arrangement for Hillary to be handed the nomination, and out come the superdelegates who, amazingly, all support Hillary and guarantee her the nomination despite Bernie's lead and momentum.

She did in 2020, but not an answer to the question.
So who was your first choice?
Nobody on the left is saying it, so I'll say it for them. Kamala was nobody's first choice, for all the obvious reasons. Only the DNC wanted Kamala because DNC leadership was hungry to have the first woman President ... but not hungry enough to actually win it with Tulsi Gabbard, who was aligned with Bernie.

The DNC absolutely needed to have the first woman President, so they knighted Kamala behind the backs of all the Democrat voters, and wouldn't bite the bullet and run Tulsi Gabbard, who would have won outright, because of their total HATRED for anyone not completely aligned with establishment Democrats. As a result, Tulsi will eventually run as a Republican, and the Republicans will get the first woman President.

We had no choice. You afflicted the nation with Trump Disease Syndrome.

The question now is "who" in 2028.

Yeah, that’s obvious. (Apologies for the redundancy)

A defining characteristic of the left

That’s going out on a limb !
