What were the ratings of Kimmel's show?

The question isn't "what were the ratings."

It's "what were the politics?"

We're in a new era. I get why the right will welcome that - but it's a new era, nonetheless.

As the genre faces a profound shift, the future of some late-night show hosts is highly uncertain. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jimmy Kimmel remarked that the latest two-year contract for Jimmy Kimmel Live might be his final run. In a recent episode, Kimmel showed his concern about the future of late-night TV entertainment on the Potlickin' podcast by saying, "I will have a hard time when it's over. It worries me," emphasizing the anxiety shared by many in the industry.

There is a theory that Kimmel is not a victim......he got exactly what he wanted as a last ditch effort to save the show.....a Hail Mary move.

It's always about the ratings. Kimmel was a liability and his actions tripped a clause in his contract. The same with FOX and Tucker Carlson.
