Good catch. The newspaper you referenced is very left leaning and they were dragged into this by other local media outlets that were digging into the misuse of covid money. Omar's clan members are in this up to their fetlocks. The restaurant tied to Omar claimed they were feeding thousands of children per day, they bought a $87,000 pickup, and a very large home in Minneapolis. Millions of dollars are unaccounted for and this story is just beginning. Omar will play her race card but the money that is already in Somalia is likely lost.

Pioneer Press is rated slight right and mostly factual. I was able to read only one article; they wanted my info before letting me read the 2nd one. The first article had no mention of Omar.
