Biography:

Lenora Thompson is an internationally syndicated freelance Patriotic/Psychology writer residing in beautiful Northern Minnesota with her husband, Michael Thompson.

Since leaving a career in IT in 2012, she has written for many sites including the Huffington Post and PsychCentral as well as MAGAMedia, Mother Earth News, New Right Network, The Liberty Daily, WhatFinger, Lucianne, etc. From 2016-2020, Lenora's PsychCentral blog, Narcissism Meets Normalcy ranked in the Top 10 Narcissism blogs by Feedspot.

After 33+ years in a cult-like family of multi-generational narcissists, Lenora is passionate about helping others understand how narcissism and cults twists minds, hearts, souls and relationships. Since PsychCentral laid off all their bloggers in August of 2020, Lenora turned down Psychology Today's invitation to write for them and instead chose to found AMERICA: The Blog.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael who is disabled with the rare lung disease Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis, and their dogs, Adele and Cleo, and kittens, Snuggles-n-Cuddles.

Her passions include writing about what it means to be an American and a Patriot as well as learning culinary science, kitchen hacks, food history, new recipes, global cuisines, famous chefs and occasionally writing about all-of-the-above in her blog Reluctant Cook, Cheap Foodie, as well as gardening, photo retouching, comedy and reading!

Lenora has been a featured guest on Toronto's Newstalk 1010 and the National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (NAASCA) radio show Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN). Cult News Network has also featured her Cognitive Dissonance article on their homepage.
